Beautiful Furniture for Beautiful Kids

Little Girls can be like Princesses to their parents. Their entire world becomes a land of make believe and dressing up. A world inhabited by fairies, witches and other characters from the mind of the likes of Roald Dahl.

Reality is slightly different and parents know they need to keep their daughters safe and sound. This means a super cozy bedroom surrounded by the most luxurious kid’s furniture that they can afford.

When it comes to choosing, there's a whole host of things to remember-
Quality is paramount, the last thing you want is for the bed to come loose, or a finger to get caught in a badly designed gap or round finished edge. So look at the store closely to see if they look like reputable traders.

Look at the materials used. Do they state what type of wood the bed has been constructed from? If it is not described then it is likely to a poor quality that could easily splinter. Oak and Mahogany make the best beds being "hard" woods.

Look at the design. There are plenty of cheaper kid’s beds out there with designs that mean they are like to bend or break easily. The slats that form the base of bed actually have to withstand a lot of force. Not from your daughter sleeping in the bed, but more likely from her and her friends using it as a makeshift trampoline every time they get together!

Finally, the aesthetics of the bed are important. As you've no doubt spent a lot of time and money decorating the bedroom and fitting nice carpet, you'll also want to furnish the room as beautifully as possible to create that "palace" feel. Soft furnishings can help build this effect, but of course the other items like wardrobe, mirrors, chairs and probably most importantly bed need to also be considered.

So take your time when choosing little girls beds and remember these pointers.
